The mission of the Neurology Residency training program is to prepare the physician for the independent practice of clinical neurology by building a foundation on clinical and educational excellence with a diversity of learning experiences.  Our program benefits from serving a diverse population at our two tertiary care facilities in New York City, seeing a broad spectrum of neurological conditions including complex and rare diseases.  Our goal is to equip our residents with a strong foundation in general neurology while allowing them the independence to explore the broad diversity of neurological specialties that continue to evolve rapidly in modern practice.

 

Our core clinical rotations will allow each resident to experience the full breadth of neurological care, across all neurological subspecialties. Our curriculum also incorporates the flexibility to allow every resident the opportunity to seek targeted clinical training and research opportunities in the subspecialty areas of their greatest interest.
